Georgia hospital excited to deploy iContracts’ Universal Contract Manager
Bridgewater, NJ – April 6, 2017 – iContracts, a leading provider of cloud-based contract, compliance and revenue management solutions today announced that Union General Hospital, a general medical and surgical hospital in North Georgia, has selected iContracts’ “Universal Contract Manager” (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, expand visibility, improve collaboration, reduce costs and optimize performance. Union General Hospital will utilize iContracts’ UCM to streamline all aspects of contract management and compliance within their health system.
Established in 1959 as a small outpatient clinic, Union General Hospital has evolved into one of the most modern, state of the art hospitals in Georgia. Due to their growth and expansion, Union General Hospital was searching for a contract management solution with strong reporting capabilities to assist with their rapidly growing environment, something a paper-based solution couldn’t provide.
Union General Hospital’s current manual process of organizing contracts lacks fundamental capabilities including a centralized repository, workflow management, integrated reporting, and the ability to track contract elements both within and across departments. In an effort to streamline the contract management processes within the organization, the need for an effective contract lifecycle management system became apparent.
“As Union General Hospital continues to expand, the need for a contract management solution that would organize and track contracts and agreements in a central repository became a priority,” stated Lewis Kelley, Chief Executive Officer of Union General Hospital. “We were searching for a solution with strong reporting and notification capabilities and Universal Contract Manager exceeded our expectations. We look forward to implementing UCM and improving our contract and compliance management processes.”
iContracts’ Universal Contract Manager is cloud-based, thus requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs. All aspects of a health system’s contract management lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones, collaborating, creating reports and tracking compliance, can be managed by iContracts contract management solution, UCM.
“Union General Hospital understands the value contract management will add to their operations and we are gratified they have entrusted iContracts to assist on this important initiative,” commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “The ability to manage and track large quantities of contracts and associated information within a health system can be a challenge for any organization, but is a strength of our market leading, cloud-based UCM platform. We look forward to working closely with the Union General team and forging a lasting relationship.”
