Healthcare System excited to deploy iContracts Universal Contract Manager
Bridgewater, NJ – April 26, 2016 – iContracts, a leading provider of contract, compliance and revenue management solutions today announced that Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH), a community healthcare leader, has selected iContracts “Universal Contract Manager” (UCM) to effectively manage contracts, expand visibility, improve collaboration, reduce costs and optimize performance. Southern Illinois Healthcare will utilize iContracts UCM to streamline all aspects of contract management and compliance within their organization.
Southern Illinois Healthcare is a not-for-profit, integrated health system comprised of three hospitals and includes more than 30 convenient locations and service sites in southern Illinois. Like most healthcare institutions, SIH manages thousands of contracts and associated documents, while making sure they are satisfying compliance standards.
Historically, SIH was managing contracts through a combination of spreadsheets, a contract tracking database developed in-house and manual processes. Such an approach lacked fundamental capabilities including workflow management, integrated reporting and the ability to track contract elements both within and across departments.
“The need for a contract management solution has become an essential need for SIH,” stated William F. Sherwood, General Counsel Southern Illinois Healthcare. “We were searching for a solution that was powerful, flexible, and easy to use in order to insure high levels of user adoption among our staff. iContracts’ UCM delivers on these requirements and can be tailored to meet the growing demands of our health system today and in the future. We look forward to improving our contract and compliance management processes and realizing substantial benefits.”
iContract’s Universal Contract Manager is cloud-based, thus requiring no investment in facilities, hardware, software or related costs. All aspects of a health system’s contract management lifecycle, including contract creation, monitoring of key milestones, collaborating, creating reports and tracking compliance, can be managed by iContracts contract management solution, UCM.
“Since 1938, Southern Illinois Healthcare has been providing quality healthcare services to their surrounding community,” commented Leigh Powell, Chief Executive Officer of iContracts. “This is an organization that truly understands the value a contract management solution will add to their operations and we are proud they have trusted iContracts for this important initiative. We look forward to a successful implementation of our market leading, cloud-based UCM platform.”
