Mira Awards Gala 2011

What is the best company of them all? Very clever, I know :). Hopefully PolicyStat is near the top. We have recently been named a finalist for Techpoint’s Mira Awards, which recognizes companies for their contributions to Indiana’s technology-related economy. We applied in the healthcare information technology (HIT) category; however, we have since been moved to the “health and life sciences gazelle” category because of our high growth rate in the last couple of years. Not only have we taken on board more outpatient clinics, hospitals and healthcare systems, but we have also started implementing policies and procedures for labs. This is a very exciting time to be in healthcare IT, especially for those of us at PolicyStat.

The Mira Awards Gala is on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the new JW Marriott hotel in downtown Indianapolis. It should be a classy event, so we’ll be sure to take pictures and post them on the blog. Hopefully we come back with a Mira to put on the wall& or perhaps to sit on the desk, since it is in fact a trophy. Wish us luck!
